HOT News Leak! WORLD of DIABLO!

World of Diablo has arrived! Holy Moley MacInoley, I have just received EXCLUSIVE behind
the scenes screenshots from the Blizzard Invitational event thing going on in
People thought
that maybe it was just a lame Starcraft 2 announcement (zzzzz XD), but the truly
innvative among us were hoping for a Diablo themed announcement. Diablo 3 would
have been enough, but WORLD OF DIABLO?! OMGWOW!
Take a look at a few of these screenshots:
First up, we have the original (boring! zzzz XD) Barbarian Skill tree. The skills, or “talents” that this Barbarian “Warrior” originally used were focused on killing things quickly. Can you say LAME? World of Diablo (tm) will be an MMO (Massively Mutliplayer Onlineroleplayinggame), and will therefore require the Barbarian play a more traditional role of what's known in these circles as a “tank class”. There has been a new tree of his skill set added, and they’re calling it “protection” (awesome naming convention, right?). This tree is supposed to help the Barbarian “gain aggro” of big boss monsters, and keep it wailing on him while the rest of the group can help vanquish the monster safely from the sidelines! Awesome!
Similarly, other classes like the Paladin and Druid will be making appearances,
and some classes have been slightly tweaked (and in some cases renamed) to fit
the larger scale of the World of Diablo (tm) Universe! Sorceresses (now called “Mages”!),
Assassins (aka “Rogues!”), and Necromancers (now known as “Warlocks”! Awesome,
right?!), will join the fray, as well as completely new and unannounced
character types!
Get your mouse finger worked up, because the tried and true “Old School Diablo” combat mechanics of “clicking the bad guy and then clicking the potions on your hotbar” will make a triumphant return, along with thrilling new advances, such as the ability to MOVE THE CAMERA! Ever wonder what’s going on under that sorc--- sorry! MAGE’S robe? Well wonder no more! Wink! Wink!
Soon you’ll be able to see it all; in stunning 3D!
The World of Diablo (tm) will come alive in stunning ways you've never even imagined before, but fret not! Your old school skills and knowledge of the Diablo-verse (tm) will still come in handy in this brave new frontier! Gameplay core mechanics remain the same; just take a look at these awesome leaked screens!
Set bonuses for wearing ‘matching pieces’ of armor!
The Horadric Cube concept has been fleshed out to be an entire new ‘crafting
minigame’ called “Alchemy”! Apparently (Jaque was a bit vague here, and my high-school French
is a bit rusty ;P), base materials can be “transmuted” into new and exciting
items! Huh? Hey, don't look at me! I don't know either, buddy, but it SAWNDS HAWT, RITE?! ;P XD :)
And don't you worry your silly little head! Old favorite standbys make more awesome high definition reappearances:

haha awesome ! Reading some of the wow sites makes me want to smack my head off a rock, I mean, zomg theres an exciting splash screen on wow.com. Its a bunch of ice crystals which are slowly unveiling something, IT SURELY MUST BE BASED ON AN 8 YEAR OLD FRANCHISE THAT HAS NEVER HAD A MOLECULE OF ICE IN IT, it could NOT possibly be the wow expansion based on a frozen continent, oh no. FUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCK NOW THERES EYES IN IT, THEY SURELY MUST BE DIABLO, ITS NOT LIKE ARTHAS OR DEATHKNIGHTS HAVE GLOWY EYES FUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCK.

Well joke's on us, it is based on an 8 year old franchise without a molecule of ice in it

so yeah the big announcement was in fact diablo 3... i was half expecting it to be a protoss coming out of the crystal, and them to just be like "surprise! starcraft2!" ;P
it honeslty cheeses me when people are like OMG HOW LONG TILL WORLD OF DIABLO because it's already fucking out, and it's called WoW
If you ever bother to read up, you would know that WoWs lore and Diablos are completely different, so no, wow aint diablo online. Sure, the Socket idea is same, so as paladin auras. But hey, both are blizzard games, they do what they want.
So in 5 years when this comes out I will have something to do for a few weeks! Yay!
