If I had to guess, I would guess someone linked a popular article--probably Interview w/ a HWL, b/c it was from about that time--in the Blizzard forums, & it became very popular & maybe got a blue flag or something & drew a lot of traffic.

Actually, Frybread had called CNN that day and told them he had nude hacks for the new Blood Elves race.

They aired the story and the rest is history.
