TOLD YA SO

TOLD YA SO

I knew TBC would decrease subscribers, but I don't think my initial reasons were correct. In January I wrote that people would get 70 too quickly and then quit.

Now, I'm not sure most people even get to 70 before quitting.

It's bound to happen with any MMO. I wonder how this compares to the actual number of subscriptions though. I am sure a good number of players are like me and leave their accounts subscribed even while they are playing other games. Just because less people are online doesn't really mean they are losing much money right now. I would like to see a large decline in overall subs though. Maybe Blizzard will actually start adding in interesting content or maybe even some form of direct competition. Instances are for sissies! I want some pvp action in old eq style dungeons.

it seems to be a cycle. I saw some1 who was playing wow with his 70 priest and i asked him how long he has been playing. he replied by saying that he had been playing for about 4 months.what i have observed is that most poepl that now play wow are people who have been told to play it by a ex player.it also seems that when people hit lvl 70, about a month or two later they llose intrest or create a new alt. Might be a good time to look for the next fun online game.
